About Yamba
Home is Yamba, on the north coast of NSW, Australia. We live in a beautiful part of the world, surrounded by white sandy surf beaches with crystal clear water, rivers, bushland and national parks.
The main industries here are tourism, fishing and sugar cane farming.
Yamba currently has a population of approx 6,000 people, but grows to 3 times that number during peak holiday times. Click here or on the picture at right to view an album of images of Yamba.
The town is situated at the mouth of the mighty Clarence River. World famous surfing beach, Angourie, is 10 minutes away. Byron Bay is just up the road. Queensland’s Gold Coast is two hours drive north, whilst Sydney is seven hours drive south.
We are fortunate to have some of the best dive sites in close proximity along the east coast, and the weather here is fantastic all year round.
Lucky, aren’t we!
